There is a great selection of work by Angela Moore up at SPD.org. Angela is the great cover designer at the Santa Fe Reporter.
In addition to a great group of covers that look like posters, there are several notes on her process as an art director/designer.
I had the pleasure of working with Angela on this cover a few months ago. She helped turn what could have been a stressful job into a pretty enjoyable project. I hope we get the chance to collaborate again in the near future.
